Summertime blues!

Summer is dwindling away so quickly! It seems like just yesterday my son had his last day of school and now we are school clothes shopping and he goes back in 2 weeks! Time flies while you're having fun I guess! I have had an "amusing" summer to say the least. I was able to visit Kings Island once and Cedar Point twice. My husband and some old friends of ours are planning on going back in the beginning of September to Kings Island. I want to take Michael this time since they have a big dinosaur exhibit that I'm sure he will love! Anyways, here are a few of my favorite photos from this summer this far. I cannot wait to add more to it!

My nail art...thus far

I'm new to the whole nail art thing but I am quickly becoming an addict. I used to leave nail polish on until there was nothing but a small blotch left in the center of my nail. Now, I find myself changing it about once every other day. I am so interested in trying so many different things!
Here is a few I've done recently. Let me know what you guys think.

This was my first "funky french".

 With this one, I was super excited to use my new Black Shatter by O.P.I and thought that using it over white would give it that zebra look. It kinda did but I thought I would add some pink tips to spice it up a little.(picture was taken with my Itouch so please excuse the low quality)

 With this one I wanted to try to "skin cell tape method" (where you stick a piece of scotch take to your hand multiple times so it gets less sticky then use it as a straight edge for nail art) I think it turned out well. I got lots of compliments on this one. (again, iTouch pic, please excuse graininess)

 This was my first water marbling, so please excuse my messy cuticles. This was so much fun to do! It was a tad bit time consuming but I love the end result! I think they looked like cream savers!

Welcome

Hello. As an avid Facebook user, I didn't think I needed anything else to "keep me at my computer" but I like the idea of sharing my life through photos with people who WANT to see them. So here you have it. My life through my camera lens. I am going to try to use a variety of topics but will probably end up with lots of posts about my kids,nail art, Daughtry (the best band in the world IMO), and the weather! I may throw you a curve ball here and there though. I am trying to take up the hobby of couponing so I will be sure to share my saving hauls on here as well!
